Constantly updating media library

Although the player authorizes that they don’t take any personal information but there are times when they can track what you are watching.
Now if you are going to update your old media player, here are quick tips that you should consider.

The status page in PMS shows the folders it's scanning are ones that haven't had anything new added to them.
I often have to manually cancel the scanning of the Photos library just to get it to move on to update other libraries where new media has been added (TV Shows, Movies, etc.).
I just don't know why it's constantly re-scanning the same folders over and over.
There's nothing that should have changed in them to trigger a "change detected" scan.
Right from playing various kinds of files, to changing its skin and installing various add-ons.

I've tried increasing the interval between library scans, which didn't help much.
I've turned off the "Update My LIbrary Automatically" option which stopped it, but then none of the other libraries would show new media either, of course.
You can set your media player for either automatic update or you can check for the updates manually and download it at your own convenience.
